About us

The Architect Shop was established in 1985 as a
firm of Chartered Architects by Matthew Laverack & Graham Souter, who also began offering their own basic in-house plan copying facilities to other local architects.

As demand grew for these facilities, so did the
printing side of the business - and over the last 25 years, we have become one of North Yorkshire’s largest non-franchised bureau facilities. Offering specialist printing, copying, scanning and design services to both local & national clients, ranging
from self-employed individuals to large PLC organisations.

Our copy shop facilities are open 6 days a week to both trade customers as well as the general public and we have recently been appointed as York’s Ordnance Survey Mapping & Data Centre.
